With Byteconf React coming at the end of August, the time has come to start giving some details about what‘s planned for the conference. Community is hugely important to Byteconf, but speakers are a vital part of the conference, too.

We’re still accepting submissions to our Call for Papers, but we’re excited to announce the first round of speakers for Byteconf React –– each speaker was requested numerous times by developers in our community, and I’m absolutely thrilled to have them speaking at the conference.

So without further ado, meet the first set of speakers at Byteconf React!

Kent C. Dodds

Kent C. Dodds works at PayPal as a full stack JavaScript engineer. He represents PayPal on the TC39. He’s actively involved in the open source community. He’s an instructor on egghead.io, Frontend Masters, and Workshop.me. He’s also a Google Developer Expert. Kent is happily married and the father of four kids. He likes his family, code, JavaScript, and React.

Tracy Lee

Tracy is a Google Developer Expert, RxJS Core Team member, a Women Techmakers Lead, and a frequent keynote speaker at conferences. She heads up Community Relations at Node Foundation, is the host of the Modern Web podcast, organizer of This.JavaScript, Contributor Days, Google Developer Group Silicon Valley and Triangle, and RxWorkshop. She is also Co-Founder of This Dot Labs, an elite consultancy helping teams build front end applications. You can find her on Twitter @ladyleet or at http://thisdot.co/labs.

I’m incredibly excited to have Kent, Tracy at Byteconf React. Not only do they represent two of the most requested speakers for the conference, but as a React developer myself, I’m excited to see their talks and learn from some of the React community’s best speakers and educators. 🎊
