Interview with Vladyslav — Co-founder of CryptoDiffer

In this interview, Vladyslav shared his ideas about Bytom, PoS and his future plans.

Bytom: Hello, everyone! We are glad to meet here: Vladyslav Skakun, co-founder of CryptoDiffer, a major Telegram & Twitter news channel that is focused on Altcoin news, research & analytics.

Vladyslav Skakun, thank you so much for joining this interview, and congratulations on becoming a Bytom global node. I hope through this interview we can learn more about you and your ideas about Bytom, PoS and your future plans.Let’s start with the introduction, how did you get into crypto? What fascinates you about Crypto?

Vladyslav: Hello, everyone! My name is Vladyslav (Twitter| Linkedin), and I’m a co-founder at CryptoDiffer & Managing Partner at ZBS Capital. Both with my partners Alex and Maks, I got into the crypto space in late 2017 with an ICO boom. The alumni from my university had a VC fund (Midgard Ventures) & he has been seeking for people to expand the operations in crypto/blockchain as an innovative & potential space. That’s how I got into crypto.

I like the vision of the blockchain that is based on the key principles: decentralization, transparency, accessibility, and privacy (where it’s really needed). Overall, the crypto space is an innovative sphere that provides tons of opportunities.

Bytom: What’s the trigger that inspired you to join and become the co-founder of CryptoDiffer?

Vladyslav: I’ve been in CryptoDiffer from the beginning. Basically, when I was working for Midgard Ventures, my colleagues & I did a lot of research on ICOs and already tradable crypto projects. Having all that stuff, we decided to share our thoughts & aggregated information about projects with the public in a friendly manner. So we developed a website, an ICO tracking website, with all necessary information about projects like tokenomics, token sale details, aggregated thoughts of opinion leaders, and much more. Simultaneously, we have been working on the content delivery through Telegram & Twitter Channels. With an ICO boom and (IEO boom the next year) we got a lot of awareness from the people that like our content and found it useful.

Bytom: Could you give a brief introduction to CryptoDiffer? What’s your vision with CryptoDiffer?

Vladyslav: CryptoDiffer is a major crypto-media, focused on blockchain startups, developments, and updates. The CryptoDiffer’s story has started in 2017 with an ICO boom and is continued nowadays. Every day our team provides our followers with the latest updates on prominent projects. Me, Maks & Alex have started the CryptoDiffer journey together and have built CryptoDiffer from scratch. Now the CryptoDiffer team consists of up to 20 professionals that are passionate about crypto.

Since 2017 we have established several new departments:

• ZBS Capital — an investment arm of CryptoDiffer. ZBS Capital is a VC fund, dedicated to building a decentralized world together. ZBS CAPITAL supports promising early-stage projects & companies with finance and advisory help.
• ZBS Tech is a developers hub building the decentralized universe! ZBS labs consist of solid & passionate developers that are empowering blockchain space with different protocols, Dapps, various solutions & tools.
• Polygonians is a news media resource about Polygon (MATIC), major news & partnerships, analytics & comparisons. Polygonians aims to build a Polygon-oriented community of believers.
• And more departments, not been publicly released yet.

Moreover, we have been working on the updated CryptoDiffer website for a year, and we are planning to release it very soon. So stay tuned for more information on the release 😉

Nowadays, there are more than 10,000 crypto projects in the space, DeFi, different consensus, staking/farming opportunities, and innovations appear every day. The general vision of the CryptoDiffer media, including all products it will consist of in the future, is to create a user-friendly space where people can explore crypto projects & related opportunities, check the most relevant news & analytics on the market in an easy manner.

Bytom: Getting into the questions, when did you start to learn about Bytom? What’s the main point about Bytom that attracts you?

Vladyslav: The first time I found out about Bytom was in early 2020 when CryptoDiffer hosted an AMA with Lang Yu, CEO of Bytom. I liked the vision of the Bytom project, and since that time Bytom has built a comprehensive product ecosystem that covers:

• Bytom Blockchain
• DeFi protocol (MOV)
• Cross-chain gateway (OFMF)
• Enterprise Blockchain (Bystack)
• And also leading an IEEE — Identity Key Management working standard group

The most important factor for me is the delivery of promised things & the continuous development. The Bytom project operates for a long time in the crypto space & is showing a good performance in terms of the Bytom ecosystem development and expanding new areas/opportunities.

Bytom: After learning about Bytom,what was the reason you wanted to be a global node of Bytom？

Vladyslav: The CryptoDiffer mission is to support promising blockchain projects. We support decentralization, so by hosting a Bytom node we help to distribute the network. The Bytom migration from PoW to POS consensus shows for me that the project moves in the right way. We would like to expand staking opportunities and found a Bytom Global node program attractive for us & for our community.

Bytom: We recognize blockchain as a decentralized way to rebuild the internet and many of our industries. As a global node, what’s your idea about decentralization and how do you think global nodes can help create a better ecosystem? Would you like to cooperate with other nodes and promote Bytom and its ecosystem?

Vladyslav: Decentralization is probably a key principle of blockchain technology. And I’ll definitely support the idea that both the internet and many systems must be decentralized but resistant to manipulations/frauds/and other negative factors that can take place.

As the global node, CryptoDiffer aims to make a contribution to the decentralization of the Bytom ecosystem. For sure we are open to cooperating with other nodes and promoting the Bytom ecosystem.

Bytom: Do you have any plans or ideas about how CryptoDiffer will support Bytom?

Vladyslav: As we are hosting a global node of Bytom and are part of the Bytom ecosystem, we will continue our support of Bytom with the CryptoDiffer resources. We are covering the major news & announcements of the Bytom ecosystem, creating educational content on how to delegate BTM tokens to global nodes, etc.

Moreover, we are going to develop a separate section on the updated CryptoDiffer website that will be focused on Staking activities & opportunities.
