Recap of Bytom CEO Lang Yu at IEEE C/BDL Standard Committee Plenary Meeting 2021
Lang Yu, CEO of Bytom, was invited to participate in the IEEE C/BDL Standard Committee Plenary Meeting 2021 on April 28. The meeting was held at Hotel Nikko Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. At the meeting, Lang Yu summarized and looked forward to the work of the P3209 working group in the past year.
Lang Yu introduced the standard-setting by P3209 working group and its outstanding achievements in the past year. At present, P3209 working group has absorbed 19 member units including Firechain, Sichuan Changhong, Onchain, CZBank, and maisitech, with a total of 33 participants; the P3209 working group held 4 offline and online meetings discussed a series of major issues including key generation, storage, hierarchical derivation, mnemonic security, cross-chain self-certification, performance, etc., and a preliminary draft on identity key management was made. The establishment and implementation of the standard is one step closer.
