BZEdge status update March 20, 2019

Biggest upgrade is live! And we have an awesome network!

Our network upgrade went smooth and we can now enjoy the awesomeness of Sapling: faster private transactions and a reliable blockchain using the latest technology available. Behind this upgrade stands BZEdge’s Alpha Team and the help of ZeroClassic’s community, in a strong and bright partnership that will benefit both communities in the years to come.

What’s next ?

First of all, the next step is watching the network and ensure the support needed for our mining pools and awesome miners during this weekend’s planned upgrade: personalisation string change. Saturday, March 20, at 8pm UTC, the network is scheduled to switch to a new personalisation string : “BZEZhash”. Miners must ensure that they use the new personalisation string starting from the exact given time. Another option is to use the --pers auto option from this very moment on pools that support it: Official pool, EquiHub and Voidr.

And after that?

This network upgrade we keep talking about wasn’t planned for this quarter of 2019, thus we had to postpone some of our releases, but we are getting back on tracks with all our short term plans:

• TradeBin is around the corner. They will keep us updated on this twitter account.
• BZShares last details are being established and the main role of this platform is to give something back to BZEdge holders.
• BZGate payment gateway plans have changed. We plan on going bigger than ever with this one, including multiple coins payment processing, wallet as a service, simple payment page for any user, and the list continues, but some features will be revealed at the right moment.
• BZVault roadmap is under construction. This piece of software will serve -as the name states - as a secured vault for your assets and sensitive data.

We will take some time to describe and release the roadmap of BZGate and BZVault, in order to ensure transparency on all our work.
