Perception can be more powerful than actual reality. If people see you as powerful you are powerful.

The cornerstone of control the ability to reward and punish is the number one way they are all motivated to do tasks or to act.

This power is based on information, but the fact is you can know a lot, but it’s what you do with that information that counts. In business, a manager that can’t communicate a message, goals, or overall vision is worthless no matter their power.
