.Net Core API Versioning Types

This article demonstrates how to version APIs inside a .Net Core application.

API needs to be versioned when drastic changes are made like

• Change in the response model.
• Change in response type.
• Removing a more significant chunk of logic in API as per new requirement.

Assuming APIs are consumed by external clients, then we need to add versioning to support new requirements as well as the old functionality.
