Why did you extend to part II?

It’s all about the feeling that recently changed when I’ve got back to Thailand. Also about the notion and the way of approaching to the subject, all of them has been changed. The only remains the same is the essence of itself — metaphoric between my journey and the death of my grandmother.

Is there something changed after part one? darker? deeper?

My grandmother passed away in December last year while I was in Japan. All of grieving and none regret have been merged during those moment. Everything was precisely obvious so now new and old photos are resonating with all of that kind of feeling together. Easiest way to say, I’m much more into it because I’ve just lost my grandmother.

Could attending in the Magnum workshop change your thought about creating work?

He taught us more about the word ‘intimacy’ and emphasizing the feelings that come from our shared experiences. Taking us to ourselves in another context and pushed us out of comfort zone. In this workshop, He did not tell us to be a cameraman in order to change the world or be a superhuman and save the world by camera. It’s all about the way you look through the world and use the medium called ‘intimacy’ bring it out as a visual.

News or updates?

I’m going back to Thailand in the end of May 2018 to participate in Photo Bangkok Festival and make a living from wedding industry. From now on next 20–30 years, I want to open a photographic library as references for every generations. The place that everyone can sit and talk about photography. Some dreams as a photo editor in New York which I have to postpone until I have to due to experiences and expenses. See you in Thailand
