Sleeping MIMM in Her Stroller

Say something about yourself
My name is Tumm. I got back to photography when my daughter was born and wanted to capture every moment as a memory. After that, I became more serious on taking street photos in 2015.

What is this series?
This series is called Sleeping MIMM in her stroller. I first just took regular photos of her in her stroller, but then continued to capture this everywhere to see the changes in the exact same stroller.

How/When did you start this series?
I started this series in 2016 and continued taking them until 2017 when my daughter couldn’t fit in the stroller.

What message do you want to tell the audience?
At first I didn’t really thought about the message but then Rammy Narula said it could be an inspiration for parents to start taking photos of their child, which is a great message.

Any news update? exhibition, book, life?
Now I am working on 2 other projects, one is called “Wrapping” which is still a work-in-progress and I don’t know when it’ll be done and taking photos of my daughter in new innovative ways.

Nattawoot Peanpunyaruk (Tumm) developed his interest in Street photography early in 2015 and joined a workshop with SPT around the same time. Now he is working with his friend on a project called ’52 Weeks On Street’ where he has to submit 1 photo every week as practice and self-improvement.
