After weeks of a successful private beta, C14 is excited to announce our public launch! We are partnering with Evmos to build a fiat <> crypto on-ramp for the $EVMOS token. C14’s on-ramp is a seamless way for the Evmos community to enter and interact with the Evmos ecosystem.
Tharsis Labs, the core developer behind Evmos recently completed a $27m funding round, which will allow for the continued growth and development of the Evmos ecosystem. Evmos is the pre-eminent EVM compatible blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK.
Our goal is to make the ramping process simple and easy-to-use for non-native and native crypto users alike. Users can quickly ramp into new projects in the Evmos ecosystem by following the 5-step process:
- Select token and purchase amount
- Verify phone number
- Enter personal information and complete KYC
- Enter payment details
- Review and submit order :)
Once a user has already completed a transaction with C14, following transactions can be completed in just a few seconds! As we scale and integrate with additional partners in the Evmos ecosystem, interacting with community projects will be incredibly easy.
The fiat <> crypto widget will initially offer native $EVMOS, and will quickly expand into additional Evmos assets, including Axelar USDC. Because of our simple plug-and-play model, any projects building on Evmos will be able to embed the widget and provide their users with a seamless on-ramping experience.
C14 is initially launching in the United States, with support for credit and debit cards. Very soon, we will launch support for Pix instant payments in Brazil, as well as card support for users in Canada and the European Union. C14 intends to roll out the most popular payment methods for each region, providing effective global coverage for all users.
