Today, we all are living in the twenty-first century, it’s a global village time, we need to get along with everyone who has different thoughts, faith, background, or religion with us.
Just like something in the so-called universal value like gender equality, freedom of speech, the most valuable treasure in this democratic age is that we accept the presence of all kinds of concepts from all kinds of persons.
We don’t need to agree with all the other’s opinions, but we must respect other’s right of speech and be inclusive to all kinds of opinions.
In an ideal work environment, the manager or supervisor must keep the work atmosphere comfortable. The most important element in a pleasant work environment is that everyone in this environment must feel he or she is respected, everyone with different backgrounds can express his or her opinions, concepts and stances without having burden.
So, if a manager wants to make all the team members feel respected, he or she must enquire their opinions very often especially before making important decisions. An ideal inclusive work environment must has the atmosphere that everyone in this group feels comfortable to express their opinions toward the job, the policy, or the company even his or her opinions will not be accepted eventually.
