Does Your Family Have Any Unique Tradition?

I think the answer is yes. My family has some special tradition and unique rules. Firstly, when I was a child, my father took us to somewhere no matter where it is every weekend. For instance, we sometimes visited temples or went hiking to exercise. Because my dad said he didn’t want us to stay at home all the holiday but do nothing, we couldn’t stay up late and needed to go out together. Moreover, we can have a lot of cookies and beverages in July of the lunar calendar every year because we buy a large amount of food on July 1, July 15, and July 29. Other people only prepare some food in one day during the Hungry Ghost Festival. The last one is I am not able to stay overnight at classmates’ home. I don’t know what the reason is, but my parents tell me several times and ask me to follow. In conclusion, I know some rules in my family sound a little bit weird. However, I think this doesn’t happen in my family only.
