In Chinese culture, we always use round tables to eat meals together, which lets everyone participate in meals. I think the main purpose of sharing food is to communicate with each other. Just like a saying says, If you order some foods, but when you see someone else’s food, you always feel that others are more delicious. Someone’s order may look more delicious at other food, and it may be a psychological effect. Sharing the joy of food with others is always happier than if you want to use it. Moreover, when I participate in some church activities, the gathering usually hopes that everyone will share one kind of meal you like. The main thing is to be able to communicate with everyone through the food they eat. The simplest way to connect with people is by eating, also the most effective way to communicate with people during meals.
Although many restaurants now offer hot pot and ramen seats for one person, and Chinese and Western dishes, hamburger fries and pizza are all types that can be shared. It is more joyful to share the joy than to keep it to oneself.
