Why Do You Think It’s Important to Learn About Other Cultures?

Have you had any experience in embarrassing situations because of different cultures? Usually, there is some discrepancy between your and their cultures, and there are three reasons that I consider it’s important to learn about other cultures. First, you could have avoided violating people that you won’t do any aggressive behaviors to anyone. Besides, you could have prevented using some inappropriate words. Next, if you know their culture, it can bring you closer. For instance, giving the person a gift, you could impress him in Taiwan. I have given my relative a box of fruit, and I have felt they were surprised and happy. Last but not least, you can find each other similarities because you have learned about their cultures. These similarities can be a point of communication, and help people to know more about your own culture. Above these opinions, I highly recommend you to learn about other cultures.
