From my trip to St. Vitus Cathedral to home stay in Osaka or Tokyo, I realize that culture is a strong part of people’s lives, it not only influences our views and values but also helps us easily connect with each other and build communities. As a matter of fact, I am pretty enjoy and eager to explore the difference between various countries.

Every summer vacation during the days in college, I often go abroad to Japan for short-term study, and find out there are plenty of interesting things happen around in Japan. Therefore, I am going to share 3 fun facts about my favorite country, Japan. First of all, you can see there are vending machines everywhere, no matter where you’re going or even in the countryside, offering anything from cold drinks to sex toys and hot braised pork on rice. Next, you can easily recognize the difference between the tourists and the locals. Japanese people always say “いただきます”before they have meals at the table, and “ごちそうさま” when they finish. Last but not the least, the trains in the morning around 7~8 a.m. are so crowded that railway staffs are allowed to cram passengers inside. It really shocked me a lot while I was on the way to school.

In conclusion, it is necessary to learn various kinds of culture in different countries, in order to bring people closer together and reduce the frequency of disputes as well.
