Three or four? It totally depends on what do you see and how do you feel.

As you can see, reality can be so complicated that we can’t judge a thing if we only listen to one side of story. “Just because you are right, doesn’t mean I’m wrong! You just haven’t seen life from my side.” Yeah, This is actually how important it is to have a sense of perspective. If you are only focusing on your problems and suffers, that’s exactly how you are going to ruin your life. In contrast, Changing how you look at a thing can definitely change how your life pans out.

I used to be a yes-person during my studying process. I strongly believed that if I treated everyone well and complied with any of request, I would had made lots of friends. In the beginning of the semester, I not only knew all the people in my class but also held the birthday party and bought a gift in order to made them happy. However, I truly suffered from unspeakable pain. That day was my terrible 19th birthday, I looked forward to celebrating my birthday party with my friends with a huge beautiful cake and endless surprises. But all the thing I got was a line sticker of “happy birthday”, the truth wasn’t what I think it was, and I was extremely disappointed. Then, a word was the last straw that breaks the camel’s back. “Am I familiar with Angel? She was not one of our group.” Thus, the bottom of my heart immediately went on fire, I couldn’t believe ears in fact.

Yeah, that was the moment I decided to change, I didn’t want to be a yes-person anymore and tried to be the real one I want to be. The main thing I only pay attention on my happiness. In conclusion, changing your perspective is like changing your mind through which you view the world. When you change how you view it, you change how you feel about it.
