For example, in Thailand, we have to wear clothes, pants, or long skirts that completely cover our shoulders and legs when visiting a temple.
Second, understanding other cultures helps you avoid awkwardness or trouble because the meaning of a gesture varies from country to country.
Finally, when it comes to business, a company has to know a local market well to make money, so the culture is a good way to learn about a country’s consumers.
