Why do you think it’s important to learn about other cultures?
In my view, there are three reasons explain why learning about other cultures is important.
First of all, when we travel different countries, we should understand some manners and taboos in their culture before we go to that countries. So that, we can avoid making faux pas.
Secondly, we can learn more concepts about what other countries’ people thinking. When you consider their behaviors from their perspectives, you will find out that there are many ways of thinking you have never thought before.
Thirdly, although technology gives us better and more comfortable life, here is one thing that never change: communication. If you do business with other countries’ customers, you should have prepared ready for your customers culture.
In the 21st century, the global is smaller than before since we live in global community. As a global citizen, we have a responsibility to learn other cultures.
