With 81% of smartphones worldwide running Android in 2017, you had better believe that we’re focusing intently on Android developers. Blockchain technology needs to come to mobile platforms but no one has built the tools to make this easy. Guess what we’re doing?

With Blockstart, you will be able to install the SDK, run through some basic setup steps, create cryptocurrencies and digital assets, and communicate with the Blockstart network with ease.

Imagine apps that would let you transfer value in a peer-to-peer fashion, without needing to worry about a backend server acting as a middle-man between the two users. Users wouldn’t need to trust that the developers’ backend server is secure because of the proven security and validation of transactions on the Blockstart network.

Additionally, users wouldn’t need to worry about certain information being held by a third party as it would be publically written to the blockchain. Obviously, some information doesn’t make sense to write to a public blockchain (i.e. passwords, identity information, etc.), but some information does.

But what kinds of value could be exchanged in a mobile app?

Imagine that you are a world-renowned digital artist. You create a piece of art and want to sell it, but don’t want to throw it up on a site like Zazzle or RedBubble where it can be infinitely reproduced every single time someone wants to buy it. You could use an app powered by Blockstart to list your art and create an immutable number of licenses for it. For this example, imagine you wanted 5 people to be able to possess it. You could create a listing for your art piece, upload a photo of it (watermarked by choice), enter in the relevant metadata for the art, select an amount for the quanity of licenses, set a per license price, and publish it. 🙌

Now a user in the app could buy a license to your art, receive the file, and enjoy your handiwork. If they decided to sell or transfer it, the license they received to their “art wallet” would be linked to your listing and therefore could be verified as authentic.

I’m sure the gears are turning in your head by now. There are so many ways this concept could be built upon and Blockstart makes it easy.

Wrapping Up

As you can see, we have a lot planned. We’ve already begun building these tools out and are coding every day on them. If you’re interested in furthering the development of Blockstart, I urge you to check out the Cache token sale (getcache.io). Cache is the cryptocurrency that powers Blockstart.

Our Private Sale phase is underway and ends on July 25. Tokens are discounted at 20% off ($0.020 USD per Cache token), but after July 25 the price raises to full price.

Visit https://getcache.io to buy Cache tokens and get involved with what we’re building to make blockchain accessible and easy for developers & startups. Read our whitepaper here and feel free to join our Telegram group as well for to-the-minute news and updates: t.me/cachetoken
