Caelestis Gaming: Extra Life 2018!
Good Day, Gamers!
Today marks the end of the first month of 2018, and here at the Caelestis Gaming Headquarters, we’ve been gearing up for a new year of Broadcasting!
To start off, we’d like to take a moment to officially welcome Crohnicus and Bakernator, our two newest Broadcasters who joined our roster at the end of 2017. Both of these fantastic individuals bring a unique aspect to our roster, so be sure to take an opportunity to check them both out!
A core aspect of what makes Twitch such a powerful platform is the immense amount of generosity that exists within the Community. To date, Twitch has raised approximately $75 Million for charities abroad, taking numerous initiatives and opportunities to expand that number. We’ve seen everything from Cheering for Charity, to Charity-centric events such as Twitch PUBG Winter Charity Invitational, the (Coca-Cola)RED Game-A-Thon, and so forth. Of this number, roughly $10.6 Million was raised for Extra Life in 2017 alone. With over 50,000 Extra Life participants last year, it goes without saying that countless individuals are most certainly eager to help support such amazing and impactful cause!
This year, participating Broadcasters and Staff of the Caelestis Gaming Network are banding together with the goal of raising $10,000 for Extra Life. Each participating member will be working throughout the year to raise a portion of the total goal, planning their own rewards, events, and coming together to do our part in support of local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

We are eager and excited to do our part in raising money for Extra Life in 2018, and with the help and support of our perspective and amazing communities, we are confident we will not only reach our goal, but surpass it before the years completion.
