How to use the Smart Recommendation app on your Cafe24 online store (Don’t worry. It’s easy!)

1. Install the Smart Recommendation app from the Cafe24 Store.

(Note: To complete installation, you have to accept the needed permissions.)

2. After installation, you will be redirected to the Smart Recommendation app window where you can start customizing your app settings. Turn Status to ON to begin. The app can be applied to both the PC and mobile versions of your online store.

3. The Smart Recommendation app allows you to add up to 16 recommended products. Up to five (5) products can be hand-picked as Featured Recommendations. The rest of the recommended products will be personalized recommendations determined by the app’s smart algorithm. Its basis will be a combination of the product categories you wish to recommend as well as your customer’s activity and preferences.

You can choose to recommend new products as well as products in the same category, with a similar name, or with the same tags as the product being viewed or searched for by the customer.

4. Once you’ve added your featured products and finalized the settings for your smart algorithm, you can now choose your user interface or how your product recommendations will be shown on your store pages.

After all, user experience should remain on-brand. Your product recommendations can be browsed through arrow buttons, scroll, drag, and through an auto-slide. The application’s skin and header text can also be changed accordingly.

Click Save to apply the changes you’ve made.

5. Afterwards, place the Smart Recommendation app banner on your online store. To do so, click Install in Mall. A window will appear so you can choose to place the banner via Location Selector or manually insert code.

If you choose Location Selector, you will be shown your Cafe24 online store. Simply click on the location where you want the app banner to show. If you choose to manually insert code, you will be provided the app banner tag which you can insert into your code.
