Cafe Bazaar Announces New Partnership with Game Accelerator Ava Games

Cafe Bazaar is proud to announce a new partnership with game accelerator Ava Games. This development was announced by the CEOs of Cafe Bazaar and Ava Games at the annual Iran Mobile Summit. As part of this partnership, Cafe Bazaar will acquire a controlling stake in Ava Games. This acquisition reflects the growth of the Game industry in Iran and Cafe Bazaar’s expanding efforts to foster development in this burgeoning field in terms of the quality of games and industry commercialisation.

Established in 2016, Ava Games is Iran’s first game accelerator. It provides game startups with co-working space and international mentorship from experts with a track record of success in game development in such areas as production, market identification, growth, corporate consultation and international market access. In a very short time, Ava games has become a significant feature of Iran’s game industry. It has worked with some of the best game developers in the country, who have, with their help, gone on to build games with international appeal that even been featured on Google Play and Apple’s App Store.

According to Cafe Bazaar’s most recent annual report, the revenue of domestic game developers by 59% in comparison to the year before, Cafe Bazaar’s mobile game catalogue now lists 31,361 game titles and the number of users who purchase games from Cafe Bazaar has expanded to 26 million active users. The growth of the domestic game market has also increasingly attracted the attention of foreign game developers looking for an export market.
