Cafe Bazaar Holds Casual Camp
Cafe Bazaar is proud to have launched the second annual Casual Camp event for young game developers. Casual Camp will be held over the course of the next four months with the goal of mentoring your game developers and providing them with opportunities to build their skill-sets and network among industry professionals and one another. The Camp provides webinars and online mixers for young developers interested in producing casual games. Cafe Bazaar considers it a key priority to provide support and mentorship for young developers and to facilitate the advancement of the mobile game industry in Iran.
Casual Camp will include opportunities for young developers to interact and build groups among each other. It will provide a series of educational webinars hosted by industry professionals and some of Iran’s best developers. The teams will then have an opportunity to build their own mobile games and compete with each other in terms of the quality of the games produced. The first installment of Casual Camp created tens of casual games and many other projects that went beyond the time frame of the project. Some of the teams participating in the Camp have since created successful studios of their own.
The Camp will be held entirely online this year due to the global public health pandemic and Cafe Bazaar’s dedication to the safety of our staff and the larger tech community in Iran. The inaugural event took place on September 12th with a webinar hosted by Cafe Bazaar CEO Amir Amirsharifi.
The mobile gaming industry in Iran has been growing at an exceptional pace and, the quality and monetization of games has improved dramatically in just the last few years. There are currently 5,000 Iranian game developing studios that have added 18,000 games on Cafe Bazaar’s game portfolio that over 30 million of our users install mobile games from. Cafe Bazaar is proud to have contributed to this development.
