This lovely mid-sized club is based in a residential area of Penarth, just 10 minutes drive from Cardiff. It has a range of courts, comfortable club house and friendly members.

Visited in August 2020, during Covid so lots of the peculiarities of 2020 were at play.

Coffee: Kitchenette area not open due to Covid; would be instant coffee only. Various local coffee shops plus Costa, Greggs etc a 10-minute walk, 3-minute drive away.

Food: None. Walking distance to shopping street.

Courts: 8 courts- four hard, four clay. The hard ones drained quickly after the rain

Viewing: Hard-courts next to club house and grass area; clay courts visible from club house but need to get closer to see details

Space: Medium size club house. Fine for the small tournament we attended. Likely to get crowded on busier days but plenty of space on the grass outside. Table, chairs, picnic tables etc

Facilities: Wifi and plugs. Good Vodafone phone signal.

Parking: Ample on-street parking directly outside

Further afield: A short walk/drive to the beach, and Cardiff just around the corner

Overnight accommodation: Full range a relatively short drive away thanks du to proximity to Cardiff
