Anthropic Introduces Customizable Prompt Styles for Claude AI

Anthropic is developing a new Customize Styles feature for Claude AI, enabling users to create custom prompts tailored to their specific use cases. Previously, this feature was limited to a few predefined styles: default, concise, and full.

• Users were automatically switched to the concise option if they exceeded a certain output limit.
• The upcoming version allows for greater flexibility, enabling users to create and modify their own styles.

A new customized icon will appear next to the drop-down menu. Upon clicking it, users can:

• View and edit their existing styles.
• Create new styles using an intuitive user interface.

Notably, the style creation interface includes an option to upload files, which can contain examples of users’ writing styles. This feature aims to help Claude adapt its responses, particularly benefiting writers who currently rely on manual prompts.

This feature is still in development, and some have likened it to the gems in Gemini, which also function as custom prompts. The official release date for this feature remains to be announced.
