At CakeResume, we have a strong and growing community built up with diversified young talents in the digital era. Our mission is to support everyone in our community to grow in their careers and find a job they really love. Ultimately, we want to help everyone to become a “Global Talent”, creating an ecosystem where people can get connected to great opportunities around the world.

Hence, we are dedicated to hosting high-quality events for our community to engage and learn from others. Since the beginning of 2020, we have invited tech talents around the globe to share their career experience.

Also, in order to help recruiters better understand and prepare for this global talent trend, we have been hosting recruiters meetup to equip recruiters with the latest IT talent recruiting knowledge and let recruiters from different industries exchange ideas.

We have three different series of talent connect events, targeting different groups of people, but with the same goal — support everyone in our community to grow in their careers.

  A series with the goal of helping our community to learn and exchange practices in different regions and countries. Also, we want to help our community to become world citizens and increase the chances of finding a job anywhere in the world.
• ⛏Talent Connect — Exploring Careers
  A series with the goal of helping our community to explore different opportunities in their career, topics may include starting a business, switching paths to a totally new career, and many more.

1. The length of our sharing time:

The length of sharing time for our speakers should be less than 50 minutes long and are typically delivered by a single presenter.

The reason to limit the one-to-many sharing time is that we want to save time for a quality and informative Q&A session. We encourage the idea of people connecting and exchanging experiences — we embrace two-way interactions through our events.

2. Attendance: 80–120 (ppl)

To help talent connect and enhance two-way interactions, we strictly limit the attendees to our events.
