At CakeResume, we’re constantly improving our product for job seekers and employers to make CakeResume a vital place to connect talent with innovative companies.
July has been a short but sweet month with a range of exciting new features, including a new design of Job Board and new launch of Notification Center. Let’s dive in!
Updates to the Job Board 🌈
Over the past few weeks, we have made some visual updates to the Job Board. These are simply changes in the design — nothing has changed functionally in how to search jobs on CakeResume. Better still, we developed more helpful features on the right sidebar for keeping track of your status and recent browsing history. We made these changes based on user feedback for how to make the experience of job search better.
New: Notification Center 🔥
We launched the Notification Center where all your notifications land. For job seekers, you will receive notification when the company you follow releases a new job, and be notified when the company opens up your application on CakeResume. For employers, you will receive notifications when someone follows your page, and be notified when receiving a job application through the job posting portal.
From the notification center, you can then navigate to the source of the notification. The read and unread notifications differ visually to differentiate between them easily.
