The five main highlights of the Fahrradschau Berlin

  1. The Miles — I always say the best part about trade-shows are the rides. This year was no different. I got out on the Podia x Chimpanzee Bars ride and Oakley x Standert ride. Bummed miss the List’n’Ride CX ride and other but I was there to ‘work’ after all ; )

2. The Smiles — No bike show vibe like a Berlin bike show vibe. If you work in the industry, you hear people complain about having to go. The Fahrradschau is different. Looks at snaps from the show. Everyone is stoked. This year had a great mix of vendors, events & brands. Attendees ranged in age & background and you could really feel how happy the vibe was.

3. The Styles — This goes for bikes as well as people. The Fahrradschau is eclectic. Check out coverage of the show from Velomotion & Fahrstil for instance. The styles feature vary so wildly. Big brands released new modes like Canyon’s kids bikes, handmade bikes boasted unique details and everyone from everyday commuters to mohawked bike punks were repping their own look. Regardless of the niche, everyone felt at home :)

4. The Aisles — The layout of the Fahrradschau is familiar to returning attendees & intuitive to first timers. I spent most of my time at the show running from the Vulpine to Gilles Berthoud booth & back but once Sunday evening crept up as the show closed down I went on a gift buying exploration down the aisles of the show to find brands and goods I had never seen before.

5. The Textiles — cool brands like our client Vulpine, former client People’s Poncho, friends at PedalEd and Podia. I dig Fingers Crossed design, their first time at the show this year too! Even local shop Standert always rad gear. Not to mention all the rad T-shirts from all over that you see like David from Fahrstil’s ‘Think Positive T’ and this Unathletics.
