Embrace personal change, Learning to evolve.

If your first reaction to something you don’t like is to become defensive, maybe it’s because truthfully, you just don’t want to hear it.

Perhaps your being presented with an opportunity to look deeper at who ‘you’ are now in conjunction to who you may become via your thinking paradigm at this very moment.

Think of the child who said “I don’t like roller coasters” until his dad went on one with him. The child declined at first but eventually approached his fears and in that moment without knowing it something in him changed and he found something that as well as a love for the suspenseful ride of his 12year old life.

What’s most important wasn’t the roller coaster but the personal change he achieved. Change can be the ride of your life. I know this because I was that child.

Today in place of a roller coaster we have ‘religion, politics, sex, even the most feared topic…God’. There’s no difference between the roller coaster and the list I just mentioned, only that as a human species we’ve made it different with how heavy or light we hold such a topic to be.

Take that ride called life, it’s worth the experience. In fact we have no choice since we’re here living it out right now. So why not create one worth experiencing?

When we allow ourselves to change our thinking and face our fears; that change becomes the catalyst to our personal evolution.

For Theo,

Thank you for teaching me how to change.
