How I understand Conversations with God book 1’s emphasis on ‘Relationships’.

It seems that the purpose of a relationship is not about what the other person ‘can’ or ‘will’ be and do for you.

It’s about deciding who you really are as a person, which until we gather in a relationship with another; we lack true actualization of who we are, want to be or choose to experience.

In the ‘relationship’ we can become something complete in who we are for ourselves not for another.

In this, we can share that completeness with each other, an additional benefit to getting together in the first place. That…is what it’s really about.

All the congestion surrounding what we have together is what we created. It separates us from what’s most important.
