We are not a Add the event to your calendar

Why send a reminder email when you can send an actual calendar invite?

Track your calendar invites receipts for Y, N, and M using the Calendarsnack Stack in 10 seconds.

Note — VIP list sending with the bulk command is in Beta. It is working well and we will release by July 1st, 2022. This is just a “teaser” overview.

We will be working with the EVENT ID (UID) today to automate the sending of a calendarsnack to a email list.

The mental modal is easy. Some people miss it. No logins. We are headless.

We use the calendar and email to process the calendarsnack. Our tech stack can be used on any mobile device or computers without any other applications.

Add us to your event using the create@calendarsnack.com address in your calendar

We track the calendarsnack event by the organizer’s email address.
Each event has a Unique Identifier (UID) associated with it. This process allows us to match the UID to the VIP email list.

This process is usually under 5 minutes to build out the file, add your email names, save as a . CSV, attach the file to your email message, and send it to bulk@calendarsnack.com.

Your calendar client and your email inbox is all you need!

Step 1-Add us to your event by using create@calendarsnack.com. We will send you a calendarsnack in 10 seconds.

Inside the Email, Calendarsnack Notification is your EVENT ID for the event to send to a bulk list.

Step 2: Find your EVENT ID in your Calendarsnack Notification Message.

The Event ID is also in your Dashboard if you don’t want to hunt and peck around your email for it.

The easiest way is to bookmark the Dashboard in your browser.

We refer to it as a UID for the purpose of preparing and sending the Bulk List

So the UID is found in the Calendarsnack notification email message located in your inbox and the Dashboard under invitation review and testing.

2 event Column names are needed in the spreadsheet — “UID” and the “Email”. The file must be a .CSV.

Step 3: The UID and EMAIL names are mandatory at the top of the excel or google worksheet used to develop your VIP list.

The UID used in that column can be the same for all the email addresses or a different one depending upon which events you want to send emails for in the list. IE — You can use one. CSV file to send to additional calendar invitations.

Once you get the CSV template built is easy to re-use for the next bulk list send. NOTE — You must use a.CSV when attaching the file and sending it to us at bulk@calendarsnack.com.

STEP 4 is preparing the file for attachment to the email as a . CSV. Insert the UID from the calendarsnack and valid emails into the columns.

Only those registered with the calendarsnack service can send files to the bulk@calendarsanck.com service.

In this demo, mandy@techvader.com created the calendarsnack and generated this UID for this event.

So she is validated to send a list to the bulk@calendarsnack.com address.

Think as the bulk@calendarsnack.com as a drop box to send off your VIP list.

Step 4: Final step is to attach the file, put bulk@calendarsnack.com in the email address, and send it.

Final Review prior to SEND

The final review does seem a bit too simple.

We designed it without a UI. So the important part is that we do all the file checking when you send it to us to the bulk@calendarsnack.com address.

We then send a notification back to you via email that it was processed.

This the notification that will show up in your email.

If you get a “received” 100 email addresses and processed “100” email addresses, you will start to see them show up in the Dashboard.

If you get a fail message of we received 100 and processed 0, there was something wrong with the file.

Step 5: Once you attach the file and send it off to bulk@calendarsnack.com, you will get a notification message that the calendar invites are processed.

Step 6: The best part is you will be able to track the progress of the calendar invitations from the Dashboard.

See the Calendarsnack Cheat Sheet for sending to a VIP LIST here.
