Looting: America’s Newest Divisive Topic
Last night, many in Los Angeles came together to protest police brutality and the wrongful death of George Floyd. For some this meant standing in the streets and chanting, “Hands up, don’t shoot!” and “I can’t breathe!” For others, the night was an opportunity to hit back at a system that is failing them and take some of what they felt was owed, by destroying and looting.
