Through code and community, we can make the world a better place. Tomorrow, The Nature Conservancy and the Call for Code team are joining forces to offer a special opportunity for problem solvers around the world to leverage tech for good by participating in a virtual workshop.

Join this workshop to learn about how the Nature Conservancy is advancing sustainable resource management in New York. Learn how you can apply your innovative ideas to their web based dialogue and resource visualization tool, the Water Intelligence Platform, to increase the ability for state, county, and local stakeholders with low technical expertise to connect and discuss water governance.

Through this workshop, participants will gain the latest insight on The Nature Conservancy’s Virtual Facilitator named Finn, how their project came together and how you can get involved. TNC is seeking to augment their virtual facilitator, Finn, to perform a variety of functions (e.g. promote conversation, make conversations inclusive, ensure conversations are informed by data, and encourage sharing of resources) and works at the expertise level of the users. You’ll learn from subject matter experts from both IBM and The Nature Conservancy as they walk you through Chatbot and AI technologies, how to contribute to open source projects, and how to start your Call for Code Global Challenge journey.
