Holidays on vinyls: first stop, Seoul

Nice Strangers is a podcast about a crazy journey in search of music in the most curious record shops in the world — 1st episode on Gioconda Radio.

Johan Borg is a Swedish music curator at Ohlogy and a guy crazily passionate about music. So passionate that in July 2017 he started a 17 days journey (literally) around the world to buy vinyls in the most cool/small/unknown/most popular record shops. His stops: Seoul, Bali, Huston, New Orleans, Panama City, Bogota, Casablanca, London.
I envied him a lot, so I decided to take part (well, remotely) in his journey asking him to collaborate in my radio program, Nice Strangers, aired by independent Italian web radio Gioconda Radio. He said yes and this is what came out.
I’ve followed Johan along his super vacay: we recorded a call in every place he visited; he told me about the records he had just bought and the music geeks he had met. For every city, a couple of records. For every stop, different music genres.
So, below you can listen to the first episode of Johan’s journey (the intro is in Italian).
