First of all and always most important is what the Captain is doing! (Between pixel golfing and tequila eyeballing 🥷) He recently did an extensive AMA with Crypto Gaming Germany, but of course in german… Luckily for most Serrans, who did learn German in between, there is an English summary by 🐬Heiler [KGD]!! 🙏
In this AMA it is raining truckloads of unpublished information about Synergy of Serras gameplay, development plans for the future, and much more stuff we never spoke about in public.
Game development
New 3D Artist
We are doing really nice progress with the game development! With 3D Artist Artem Ostapchuk we found someone with style the perfect set of skill to help us with the creation of the game board. His previous artworks are just wonderful! ❤
With this power-up for our design team, we are doing nice progress at the development of the game board! Though everything is still in an early draft state, the design of the game board slowly takes shape.

Crate Opening

Marvin does an amazing job on the 3D animations in preparation for the upcoming Crate Opening and is feeding us with tasty teasers! 🤤
It is just spectacular how he brought the crates to life! (Animations are not final yet though)

And agaaain another Pricing Tier is SOLD OUT! 🦾
Now it also hit Tier 2 of the Base Set Crates! Which means, the price automatically got increased by 33% and will be 2,00$ for the next 40.000 Base Set Crates.
Steam
The setup of the official Synergy of Serra Steam page is almost done! It might be possible to bring it live with a “Coming Soon” status during already the upcoming month! Can’t wait to announce that to everyone and proof that we are going to be a serious quality game! 😊

Website Issues
Last month we had to be sorry for several issues and bugs on our website. Though Serran’s were worried to loose their crates, it of course was without any reason. Because like already Founder and CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao used to say: “Funds Are Safu”!
No, seriously now. Like already Founder and Smart Contract Developer of Calystral, Julian Sakowski used to say: “Nothing gets lost on Serra”! There is no way for Serran’s Crates to get out of their wallets just like that.
New International Discord Channels
Since the requests for that did not stop, even when we ignored them, we established some international (actually regional) discord channel to give people a place to talk in their favourite language. 🖖
For now we started with the following languages:

We might create more international channels, if people start spaming for it. But we also don’t want to spam our discord with empty channels.

Xan Ak’ Tu Ryu (The One To Be) — Transcendent priestess Ak’ Tu Mei (daughter of Transcendent High Counselor) fell in love with Native Highborn during his diplomatic visit. A half-breed was born. The priestess knew that both of them will be killed, therefore, she branded the child with “code key” and placed the key in the Temple of Divine. She hid the child in the old Mechs scrap yard with note Xan Ak’ Tu Ryu (The One To Be). Mechs have found him and raised. As he was growing fast, he was put into the mines to mine Serranium (rare, powerful but radioactive ore/metal). Many died, but he became resistant to it. One day a mine shaft collapsed on top of him and Mechs thought he was dead. Again, he ended up on a scrap yard, being picked up by Virtuals during a surveillance. They saw that he was still alive and put some AI enhancements. Since he was huge and strong they took him as a guardian on their galaxy expeditions. As he was immune to Serranium, they built him an armor which made him invincible. He has visions of a woman (his mother) but he cannot still interpret them which is causing short glitches between his biological and artificial brains. Those will be resolved when he finds the code key while defending the Temple of Divine. The Virtuals sent him on Grand Tournament to become a champion of Serra and lead Serra’s defense (The One to Be).
🥈 Metabaron:
Elron — Native Elron, often called the Blue Storm, is one of the last confirmed members of the Blueskins tribe. No one knows of Elron’s early story. He came from the north with a small group of followers forming his own tribe, the First Sons. Elron’s tribe is growing fast in members and power every day and is considered a dangerous threat to the leaders of other tribes in Serra. Elron won’t stop until he becomes the only and true king of all tribes in Serra and then he will lead them to the final victory. He’s considered by many to be one of the greatest fighters to have lived in Serra. Elron can move extremely fast and has explosive strength. His weapon, an ancient spear, unique of its kind, glows in different colors depending on Elron’s mental state. As he becomes more angry the spear goes from green to red, increasing exponentially its destructive power.

MCR-205 — By the time the threat was public, mechs had already used their scanners and sensors searching for ways to protect their tasks (inhabitants of serra are not the priority for these machines) upgrading their systems and creating a new unit specifically designed to protect all mech activities the MCR-205 was created using a combination of three of the hardest metals found around world. equipped with two shield emitters on the sides, its only task is to search a connection with more of these units to create a powerful surrounding energy over an area of work. Weakness: only one of them will be useless Only will protect mechs, it may cause serious damages to other factions Strength: the more you have deployed the harder will be the generated shield.
