Music gives a soul to the Universe
Every great card game needs an epic soundtrack, and now Synergy of Serra has one. Get ready for Ranked Season #2!
As we continue to push the prototype game client in terms of smoother gameplay, card balancing, and refining our mechanics. We also try and find room to fit in some quality-of-life elements that raise the overall experience of playing a prototype game that is still in early development.
With that in mind, we’re super happy to present the first two Synergy of Serra compositions that will make up the game’s soundtrack.

This first piece is the theme that will feature on the main menu. It’s atmospheric and brooding and really gives flight to your imagination. You can picture yourself flying over Serra and sweeping through bustling metropolises, over break-taking mountain ranges, and across azure oceans.
The second track, Eclipse of Valor, will give wings to your mind in-game while you battle with other Serrans. Percussive and tense, it sets the scene perfectly for edgy encounters to be played out to their dramatic climaxes.
We look forward to adding more soul and life to Synergy of Serra in the future, and bonus points to those of you who recognized the quote from Plato above.
Ranked Season #2 is here!
It was amazing to see all the activity and competition in Ranked Season #1, and it was a proud moment to be able to send out the first-ever season rewards to all those who qualified.
We want to gradually build on what rewards we can offer and eventually transition to using the Rewards Vault to decide what can be won via the leaderboard. For the time being, we will allocate leaderboard prizes on an ad hoc basis.
Š205,000 Prize Pool
For Ranked Season #2, we will introduce scrap as a reward for the first time. The season will start on Friday 11th Aug and last three weeks. Everyone’s Elo rating will be reset at the start, and players will compete to rank up the leaderboard by winning battles and achieving the highest Elo ratings.
For the most skilled, there is the chance of winning some scrap. The top ten places in the leaderboard will be rewarded as follows:

We can’t wait to see what exciting synergies and combos people will come up with this season, not to mention how high up the leaderboard people can reach. As with previous events, we will be vigilant in monitoring for suspicious activity, and we won’t be afraid to take appropriate action if necessary.
