Latest Amanda Release Includes 73 New Features and Enhancements
Throughout the past year, our team has been hard at work improving our technology strategy so that we meet our mission of building the world’s best govtech software. We have increased our focus on strategic product management based on an agile methodology and pragmatic marketing framework. The result has been an increase in both our innovation velocity and quality.
We regularly update our Amanda software to add new features that help our government customers improve efficiency and better serve citizens. With our increased velocity, we issue engineering releases once every four weeks, which are released to customers on request. Twice a year, we issue major releases that consolidate all of the engineering releases and are available to all customers. This new cadence and process allows our customers to easily plan their upgrades around our release schedule.
On January 11, 2019, we issued our most recent major release, which includes the previous six months of releases. The major release includes 73 new features and enhancements and 154 bug fixes. Of those, two significant improvements are:
- Global Search enabling simple, Google-like search capability across the entire Amanda platform, and,
- Page header freeze, enabling customers to “freeze” rows or columns to navigate through reports to better access and review information.
We’re working with customers who are ready to upgrade and take advantage of the latest features of the release. If you work within government and need software that can help you manage and attract growth to your community and would like to see a demonstration of our Amanda platform, let us know.
