We are participating in the Gitcoin Alpha Rounds. Find out how to configure your passport to amplify your donation and how to contribute to campaigns.
GitCoin has opened a new round of crowdfunding through Quadratic Funding (FQ), supporting 200 grantees working on Open Source, Ethereum Infrastructure, and Climate Solutions and enabling these and other projects to bring their visions to life.
This round is different from the others because the platform is undergoing a transition process from centralized donations (cGrants ) to a new donation protocol that aims to decentralize funding.
Cambiatus is participating in the Gitcoin Alpha Rounds with two campaigns 🚀
🚀 Bundle: Emerging Economies and Indigenous Communities. Working with the Paiter Surui indigenous community to create the Paiter Coin and onboard their members into the web3 space.

How to take part in it?
1 — Access the chosen project and click “add to shortlist”.
Note: You can add more than one project to your bag and donate at once.
2 — If after clicking on “add to shortlist”, the message “Passport score not detected. Please configure your passport” appears, we recommend verifying your identity to extend your donation.
2.1. Click on “create passport” to create a Passport if you don’t have one already. You will be taken to a new window to begin verifying your identity.
2.2. Verify your identity by connecting to various stamps.
2.3. Return back to this screen and recalculate your score.
2.4. If ineligible, you will have the chance to verify more stamps to raise your score. Once you have, recalculate your score.
2.5. If eligible, your donation will be matched.
Gitcoin Passport is an identity aggregator that helps you build a digital identifier showcasing your unique humanity. Select the verification stamps you’d like to connect to start building your passport. The more verifications you have, the stronger your passport will be.💪
3 — After checking your passport, click on the bag icon to access the chosen project.
4 — You will see access to this information. Click on “Add all (2) projects to Final Donation”.
5 —Enter your contribution amount and then click “Submit your donation”.
6 — And finally, click “Confirm” to confirm the transaction. You will also need to verify it in your chosen wallet preferably, and that’s it! Your contribution will be made 😊✅✨
