Olivia Taylor has been awarded the Volunteering Award for the 2023 Vice-Chancellor’s Social Impact Award

Olivia Taylor has been an outstanding student to the charity Cambridge Student Community Action. She has dedicated much of her time to the children in the community and helped train volunteers how to be an amazing leader. She has been a Project Leader for Bounce for 5 years now, going every Saturday to help make crafts, parties, soft play centre visits, bouncy castles, Halloween, Disney and dinosaurs, science experiments, visits from a magician and a dozen of exotic animals! Feedback has been exceptional, and volunteers do an amazing job of managing whatever the session throws at them. Not only has Olivia Taylor helped in Bounce, she has also been exceptional at organising Summer Parties, Easter Events, Punting on the river Cam. She is so loved by the children and parents and even volunteers for so many other charities like St. Andrews Youth Café and Concrete Rose.

Olivia Taylor comes from a Free School meal background and therefore works hard at working with disadvantaged communities in Cambridge to help the society and atmosphere in Cambridge. This is just the start of her incredible work!
