Philip works in Organisation Development (part of HR). The team’s work involves building capacity, capability and commitment of individuals, groups and the whole organisation in order to find and achieve their purpose. Phil is also interested in creating environments that offer fairness, dignity, respect and opportunity for everyone — so that we can all live a decent life at least, if not a happy one.

We have lift off! Last Tuesday we launched the Imagination Activism programme with 32 participants (me included) — and we are off to an exciting start. It kicked off with an inspiring introduction from Jo Brown, director of people and inclusion and welcomes from Phoebe Tickell and the Moral Imaginations facilitation team. We were introduced to what it means to be an Imagination Activist and how that differs to traditional activism. You can find more details on other things we did and introduction to the participants here

But what really stood out for me was when we were encouraged to look for anything that we would love to see more of in our vision of 2030. This exercise really got people thinking and talking about their visions for the future. I am keen on having more dignity, respect and opportunity for everyone, alongside pollution free society, and more wellness, both physical and mental, for all.

Over the coming weeks, we will share more messages on what is coming out of the programme. We will also invite you to guest-speaker events and our graduation event on the 29th November. All happening in this month and next. We will come back to you with precise dates as they are confirmed. In the not-too-distant future, you too could have the opportunity to take part in the Imagination Activism programme and experience its charm.
