Camp IHC is a seven-week summer paradise overflowing with fun and excitement. Full of happy campers and counselors, upbeat music, dancing, and laughter, everyday is joyful!
But this past Sunday evening, something was different.
The air was misty and the wind whistled as it rustled through the trees. There was a spooky symphony of cicadas chirping and wolves howling. If you listened closely, you could hear a faint voice in the background. Could it be the mysterious ghost of Cropsy?
No — it was our CITs.
But something was off. Legend has it, once every 27 years, there is a shift in the magnetic fields causing all the planets to perfectly align. At dusk, the CITs unconsciously wandered down to Project Adventure. They were transformed (with a little costume makeup) into possessed dolls and zombies!
Our CITs led everyone on a haunted night hike. But beware — stay on the main trail! Something may be lurking in the woods.
Out of the trees came zombies, monsters, even a man with a chainsaw. Stay away — he’ll tear you limb from limb!
Afterwards, campers headed to the canteen for some trick-or-treating (no nut products of course). Everyone grab your pillow cases! This was a sweet ending to a thrilling night of spooky scares.
Happy Halloween!
