2018 was one of the hottest summer ever, bringing the heat was the IHC summer camp fashion scene. Always one of the funkiest, freshest, vibrant lines around. We sent some photographers out to capture the camp styles from the Summer 18' line.
Look #1 — Old School Hip Hop Rules
Fresh Prince of Bel Air meets Run IHC, the timeless Stan Smiths make a statement that you can walk and talk the way you want. We’re loving the backwards snap combined with the blackout shades. Extra points awarded for the SPF 50+ collection.
Look #2 — Don’t Get Lost in the Dark
This look is throwing it back 10 years, when it was all about the neon. Look how the headband doubles up as a neck scarf, this multi-functional accessory is brilliant for keeping it cool in the sunshine. The accessories match the outfit and extra points are scored for the shinguards. Sunshine, smiles and safety is always a timeless look.
Look #3 — Tye-Die, Thank U, Next
There are some campers who just ‘get it’ and continue to go with the classics. Here we see a pair of black Nike’s, black shorts and a funky tye-dye tank top. We’re all about the simplicity, a few bold items with a vibrant feature top to make it a statement. You can’t go wrong at camp with this look. Thank U, Next.
Look #4 — The Sporty Skater City Kids
The Air Jordan & Supreme logos are two of the hottest tickets in the world right now, especially in the slightly hipster city areas. These kids pull the look off simply because they are hanging out on the boys bunkline. The bunkline is a place where there’s street basketball everyday, a great art scene and a bunch of cool kids just hanging out. Kick, push, kick push & coast.
Look #4 — The Happy Camper
This camper has got one of the best summer camp styles in the game. Again we see the timeless Stan Smith’s and the neon black out sunglasses, although combining this look with the Happy Camper tye-dye is very chic.
Look #6 — The Wolfpack
It’s the 21st century and wearing a suit and tie to the office isn’t exactly the cool thing to do. This camper knows that. We snapped this when he was out playing a bit of throw and catch with the guys. We like how he has opted for the statement graphic t-shirt combined with the lounge shorts look. Look #7 — The Happy Camper 2.0
Yet again we see another “Happy Camper” tye-dye t-shirt on the fields of IHC. We’re not big on make-up but creative face paint is one we give two thumbs up to. The shin guards and water bottle are two bold features that really add to the outfit. This screams summer camp and we love it!
Look #8 — The New York, New Yorker
We snapped these two sports fans hanging out by the Lodge, can you guess which city they might be from? Colorful is what camp is all about and these boys know that. We like the consistency!
Look #9 — The Schools Out For Summer
Laces tied, artsy water bottle, notes in hand. Class is over and summer is here for this camper! Straight A’s all the way from Athletics, Aquatics, Arts & Adventure. That wrist is going to have a great summer camp tan line by August.
