Everyone wants to have a ‘perfect’ superior, a cheerful, professional, experienced and fair person. But of course, like any other person, your boss has certain defects. Find ways to change your boss? Don’t expect that.

Think of the boss as a customer

You can have many different bosses while working. Some people give you feedback and are always “flashing” encouragement when you try to work well. But there are also people who make work more difficult because of excessive control or lack of organizational capacity. No matter what your boss is, you need to determine whether you are working with him or her or against. Obviously trying to work in harmony with your boss is easier and wiser.

You used to have very good measures to adjust relations with customers. So why not treat your boss the way you do with customers. Try to understand your boss

By observing and asking questions, you can learn more about your boss’s “world.” Try to pay attention to the scope of responsibility, the process of your boss’s work. Put yourself in the boss’s position, you can understand the burdens that he/she is suffering or the wishes that his/her boss wants his/her employees to respond to. Good communication

You need to find the most reasonable way to communicate to your boss. Some boss likes to talk directly, but there are also people who prefer to receive email or phone. You also need to find out if your boss likes a brief presentation of the problem or a detailed report.

The golden principle of communication is listening. Instead of thinking about what you will say when meeting or meeting your boss, you should pay attention to what your boss says. Good listening skills will help you understand what the superior wants. Always have a small notebook to keep track of what is needed or what you need. After that, you should comply with your boss’s request. Limiting the question and ask the same question again will make your supervisor evaluate your ability.

Do not let emotions overwhelm when communicating with your boss

The workplace is a place where emotions should not be overwhelmed. So, no matter what the problem is, don’t be angry or mushy when talking to your superiors. Maintain the way of speaking and voice intensity just enough to hear.

If there is a problem you want and want to present, try to hold back and wait until the emotion passes. After that, you can explain it more clearly.

Tell your boss what you need

Once you’ve found the best way to communicate with your boss, take the initiative to talk to him/her, suggest what you need to make the job smooth, don’t assume your boss has to figure it out for him/herself. You may need more training on computers to make presentations for example. Explain why you need it and how you will work more effectively.
