Monday, the least favorite day of the week for most people. There is always excitement to the start of something new, but the start of a new week … ehhh, definitely not for me. But at least we officially started working in our new office today. Everyone came early this morning to reserve their spot and quickly settled in the new space. I could feel the intimacy level has risen.
And yes, I almost forgot to mention that I got only 2 Todoist notifications today. It’s such something to cheer for, right…?
“My screen did not fill with Todoist notification this morning,” Hien shared with everyone as soon as she arrived at the office. Plus, she had finally caught up with the flow of work after the first week. At the moment, she will be focusing on the legal documents for the company.
Manh has finished a brief of legal guidelines relating to microcredit institution operation, which includes: Circular No 03/2018/TT-NHNN mentioning the laws of operating the MFIs, Decision No 20/2017/QĐ-TTg about the activities of micro finance programs and plans of organizations, Circular No 14/2017/TT-NHNN regulating methods of calculating interest rate in deposit and loan activities and others. He spent the remaining hours working on the process of mastering the manual of Management portal of Core-B.
After working extremely hard for the first week, Xuat has finally completed the task for connect db mysql to the local server. He was left with fixing bugs for the search function for Loan officers and borrower by name.
Noi figured out the solution to fix the search function. He was thrilled to see the application suite, which will go live any day now. There were a lot of bugs for Noi to look at and he was not amused by it.
Le’s “office setup” task was officially closed. He worked on generating borrower application and assessment reports for Thanh Hoa MFI client and discussed with the Chinese team on database design.
A quick recap of this morning meeting. The started the meeting with the team in Hanoi without the present of Surat, who was on the plane back to Bangkok. Overall, the team was super excited this morning as they were close to pilot the first release of Canal Circle application suite with several minor bugs remaining. The team also discussed all pending issues and solutions for new requirements to make the product more stable.
