CanEx Jamaica — Interview with Dan Herer of The Jack Herer Foundation

The Cannabis wiki team interviewed Dan Herer, who is the son of the legendary ‘Jack Herer’, sometimes called the “Emperor of Hemp”. Dan Herer’s father was an American cannabis activist and the author of ‘The Emperor Wears No Clothes’. The book elaborated on the events, where after taking advice from a friend, he begins a compilation of information about cannabis plants and its many uses.

Dan Herer created a brand to continue his late dad’s legacy. He currently wears the hat of an hemp entrepreneur and continue advocating for hemp being an educator and an influencer.

Dan is the Director of the ‘Jack Herer Foundation’ where he uses this platform as an impact for positive social change for cannabis legalization and to re-introduce the hemp plant’s history.

Dan also started ‘The Jack Herer Cup’ which is the yearly premier cannabis award show held in Las Vegas and Amsterdam to honor his father, the late Jack Herer ,and to give recognition to other cannabis activist.
