Barry Davidson Managing Director at Davidson Global Advisory Group. Barry brings his unique expertise and skill set in the areas of regulatory compliance, security best practices and business strategy. He has proudly served as Senior Advisor to the Minister, Justice & Solicitor General, Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Municipal Affairs for the Gov. of Alberta, Special Advisor to the Minister of Municipal Affairs as well as serving as Chief of Staff to the Assoc. Minister of Public Safety & Regional Recovery & Reconstruction for 2013 flood in Alberta.
A CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) Practitioner who holds a Diploma in Police Sciences (Honors) with a background in criminal psychology, he has been recognized as a ritual abuse/cult expert by Cult Awareness Network and has received the President’s Award from ISCPP and recognition from the City of Calgary CCIT for his work. He is the founder and current Executive Director of the International CPTED Association.
Barry sits on several non-profit & corporate boards and is contracted regularly to provide strategic advise in both the business, crisis and risk (reputation and operational).
