We share some tips and cool features of Binance Chain in the lead up to the CanYa token migration

Binance Chain & DEX

The first thing you should do is create a wallet on the Binance DEX.

It should be very familiar to setting up any other cryptocurrency wallet. Please ensure you follow all of the instructions carefully and keep you keystore file, password and mnemonic phrase/private key secure!

It is a very similar process to any other cryptocurrency wallet set up. Keep those passwords, phrases and kets secure!

To see your wallet details click on your profile icon and then the square with the diagonal arrow:

Note: all Binance Chain addresses will have a ‘bnb’ prefix as seen above

You can now see your wallet address, balance, transactions and get a QR code like below:

Once you have set up your wallet, take some time to explore the DEX, for those familiar, you’ll notice the user interface is very similar to that of Binance’s centralised exchange:

One feature which our community will become familiar with is the ‘Explorer’ tab. This is, as its name would suggest, the Binance Chain block explorer. It works exactly the same as any other protocol block explorer:

You can view the current block number and recent transactions or find specific transaction details and wallets by pasting the hash into the search field. The layout will be very similar to those community members who used etherscan to track their ERC-20 $CAN transactions:

Binance Chain Community

Another great resource and area to explore is the community forum. Binance Chain is aiming to be truly decentralised and open source. To achieve this Binance want to grow a strong community of developers and supporters who can help with development proposals and protocol improvements.

We recommend everyone from the CanYa community join the Binance Chain community so we can be part of this rapidly growing movement.

If you haven’t already you should take a few minutes to quickly like and comment your support for our DEX listing proposal:
