Launching Cape AI Ventures: (Re)inventing businesses!

We are very happy to announce a new chapter to the Cape AI journey that started at the beginning of 2019. Back then Cape AI was founded by enthusiastic data-driven entrepreneur Pieter Boon and Artificial Intelligence expert Koen Bonenkamp. Until now Cape AI has seen significant growth helping many companies towards AI transformation with the highly talented AI developers of Cape AI.

Enlabeler
During this period Cape AI was able to successfully launch a new purpose-driven venture called Enlabeler. Enlabeler offers a data annotation service with a mission to create jobs in townships. Enlabeler works for clients that need help with the management, classification, clean-up, and labeling of image, speech, text and/or video datasets to train machine learning and AI models.

Cape AI Ventures
Cape AI is aiming to build and support more exciting AI ventures in the near future and launch a new activity called Cape AI Ventures. Cape AI Ventures builds and supports cutting-edge AI ventures that shape the future and improve the triple bottom line: people, planet, and profit.

How does it work?

• Cape AI Ventures for employees

Our talented employees can spend 20% of their time on developing exciting moonshot AI prototypes. We support these ideas, and critically review the ideas to find out what it should or should not be! Our aim is to put our best people together to build teams that are able to translate problems worth solving into products worth using. Because, we know that every problem has a solution, but not every solution solves a problem.

During the development, we will track progress, investigate investment possibilities, and open up (corporate) networks to validate and grow the solution. We will coach and mentor the team and will discuss spin-out possibilities to create an independent AI venture.

CaffeineConnect — Connecting Colleagues: We are developing a Natural Language Processing (NLP) solution to intelligently connect colleagues to build great teams.

CrunchCure — Share cures with others: We are building a quantified self data-crunching platform to support healthy lifestyles

• Cape AI Ventures for startups

We believe that there are many people — outside of Cape AI — who work on cutting-edge AI solutions. We would like to collaborate and are looking for founders and CTO’s who need some extra AI capacity to grow their business. We are able to create great AI teams that like to work with promising and purpose-driven companies (early-stage as well as fast-growing) to build and grow their cutting-edge solutions.

• Cape AI Ventures for corporates

Many corporate organizations are struggling with their AI strategy. The most important first step into AI transformation is to make sure your first AI projects succeed. Our AI teams are available to solve short-term corporate use cases and gain momentum with cutting-edge AI solutions.
