Galaxy Unpacked 2018 ⌚️📱
Presented by Sharath
Every year, Samsung hosts the “Galaxy Unpacked” event where they unveil the latest additions to the Galaxy family. This year, we saw the new and upgraded Galaxy Note 9, the future of wearables with the Galaxy Watch, and the surprise reveal of the Galaxy Home; A smart speaker powered by Bixby.
However, we’re not here to discuss the new line of Galaxy products (not that they’re not great or anything). But let’s talk presentation. The stage features multiple screens and mimics the style of Projection Mapping. There’s a front-facing screen complimented by a bottom screen where the keynote speakers stand and present as well as three smaller screens above. This allowed Samsung to create an incredibly immersive experience.
Even if you’re an Apple fanboy/girl, you have to admit that their presentation is on fleek 🔥💯
If you’re intereste… Actually nevermind, just watch the video. You won’t regret it 👇
Lingo by Noun Project 🧰
Presented by Krushidhar
Think of “Lingo” as an interactive brand style guide where you can store all your design assets including; Logos, Icons, Typography, Colours, and even Elements like buttons and form fields.
Honestly, I’ve done the whole rifling through my email just to find a logo or a font and I can tell you that it can be a nightmare sometimes. Ever since I started using Lingo, I’ve never had to search through my email or even Sketch files to find a component.
If you’re on Mac, you can grab Lingo from here 👉 http://bit.ly/2JHejsD, and if you’re on Windows, you can use the Web App 👉 http://bit.ly/2K7qu1f.
The works of Kerby Rosanes 🎨
Presented by John
Kerby Rosanes is a Philippines-based illustrator who has created a unique style for himself using ink, fineliners and markers as his primary tools. He sports clients like Nike, Ford, Mazda, Netflix, General Electric, Amazon, Ubisoft, Warner Bros., and many more.
Here are some of my favourites 👇
He began as a hobbyist and simply did art as a hobby but his amazing talent and creativity was soon recognised by design blogs and international magazines and he finally decided to make his career out of it.
Can we both just agree that we could just got on staring at his amazing illustrations all day? If you’re interested in staring at more of his work, check out his website 👉 http://bit.ly/2Qr2irO.
