Capita welcomes Lucy Davidson to Board of Directors

Last week the Capita Board of Directors elected Lucy Davidson to their number. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Lucy is the CEO of Future Tracks, a new social enterprise designed to attract and support the next generation of early childhood teachers by providing strong career pathways, mentoring and leadership opportunities to students while they complete a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

Lucy is passionate about the value of early childhood education and is committed to elevating the standing of the profession in Australia and creating a new generation of early years teachers.

Prior to joining Future Tracks, Lucy was based in Washington D.C. where she established and led the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s early childhood education and care portfolio. In this role, she worked with business leaders and senior stakeholders across the U.S. to elevate the importance of high-quality early education and find innovative community-led solutions to expanding access and quality.

Lucy has extensive experience in the non-profit and government sector, where she has held numerous policy and programmatic roles across education, workforce development, and disability services.

Lucy has a BA in International Relations and is currently completing a Juris Doctor at the Australian National University.
