Instagram was the last of the big social media platforms to really hop on the book train. Likely that’s do to it primarily being a platform for images and books are words, not pictures.

However, bloggers and reviewers didn’t let Instagram be bookless long and now it is full of fantastic photography of of fav novels.

Just search #bookstagram and you’ll find a ton of great book bloggers but I wanted to share a few that I follow. Many of them focus on genre fiction though not entirely science-fiction or fantasy. Each is varied in their posts and always delightfully creative.

1. Wizardrylibrary

Wizardrylibrary does a bit of everything and the account is gorgeous. Books are so much more than possessions, than the physical paper and ink…but they are also beautiful and artistic and this account highlights that.

2. Rionawrites

I love readers who are also writers because they have such great insights about literature. Rionawrites blogs about books but also blogs about the writing journey. It’s great to engage with other writers on Instagram.

3. Readsandraves

This account doesn’t discriminate against genre. There is a bit of everything here. The aesthetic changes but is always minimalist, neat, and beautiful.

4. Paperdreamsblog

This account has lots of fabulous book recommendations and covers a lot of different genres so there is something for everyone. Paperdreamsblog is so friendly too, always sharing a tidbit of personal life with each post. You can check out the PapaerDreams blog too!

5. Levicorpsvs

Levicorpsvs has a really individual aesthetic and is always collaborating with other interesting people and accounts. This is definitely an account worth following for the images alone but also a great way for discovering others.
